Last week we were honored to invite Alex Van Silfhout, coach of the Dutch national team, to conduct a week-long training camp for our athletes and horses.

 

Throughout the week of training, we witnessed dynamic changes in each horse, and observed rapid technical growth in our athletes. Ultimately, this culminated in a small showcase in last week's competition.

We extend our gratitude to Alex for his presence, which has deepened our understanding of our equine partners and provided clearer direction for future training. He has instilled confidence in our riding abilities and raised our standards for horse handling. He has also emphasized that while winning competitions is important, it is equally crucial to adjust based on the experiences gained from each competition, gaining a better understanding of ourselves and our horses.

 

This week of training has been enlightening, and as we approach the final equestrian event of 2022 this weekend, it will undoubtedly be a memorable experience for all of us equestrian enthusiasts. Let us carry the fruits of this week's labor with us as we embark on the competitions of 2023 together.
